My Naamdaan Experience

I went to take naamdaan when i was 23. I was happy and very sure i will get naamdaan as i was hearing satsang from childhood. I listened to the satsand did darshan and very confidently i went to the naamdaan registration line. One uncle stopped me and said what is your age beta i said i am 23 he said "abhi satsang suno kitabe pado" i was shocked and replied i am listening satsang from last 23 years and read books too please let me go inside. But he said a BIG NO and i was very disappointed and came back wrote letter to radhasoami ji and got replied like 'Aapka jhukav sarhaniye he' par abhi aap naamdaan ke liye chote ho jitna wakt mile kitabe pado aur satsang suno and age for naamdaan is 25.

After 2 years i went again and this time i was more confident that i will get it as i am 25 now. I went to naamdaan registration line and again one uncle stopped me and asked my age i said i am 25 and showed my DB proof. He said beta abhi 'Satsang suno aur books pado' i got tears in my eyes and said i listen to satsang and read books too please let me go inside. He said beta Married ke liye age 25 he aur single ke liye 28. I said uncle please let me go earlier it was 25 he said now its 28. I felt like Naamdaan meri kismat me nahi he. I just forgot about this and decided now i will go for naamdaan registration after marriage agar kismat mein hoga to baba ji khud bulaeyenge and kept on listening to satsang.

I got married and started enjoying my life and got a baby too now i was not going satsangs.My mom was very regular to satsang and pakki sewadaar. She used to say me that i should go to satsang I said its difficult mom. I got a baby now.

One day i was passing my time on orkut and i found Radhasoami community on orkut and i started reading peoples experiences and urge to take naamdaan cameback and decided to take naamdaan.

I asked my mom for the next satsang date and naamdaan registration date. I went on the naamdaan registration date and very confidently went in line and nobody asked my age as i am 30 now and look more than that i got the yellow slip wherein we are supposed to write your personal info. I assumed i need to submit this slip and thats it its done but 'NO' there was an interview. My turn came and she asked about my inlaws husaband etc.. and then she asked when did you heard the last satsang from Babaji. I said 2 years back. She said Come next time. I told her i am listening to satsang from childhood and because i got married and got kid i was not able to attend satsang. She said its ok beta come next time you will get naamdaan. I was crying like anything and maine kaha pahle aap bolte ho shadi karlo fir naam milega ab shadi aur chote bacho ke sath kaise satsang sune blah blah... She said very politely beta come next time... I was angry with babaji and decided not to come again for naamdaan. But after 5 mins i was ok .. relaxed aur maine socha baba ji meri pariksha le rahe he... Agar baba ji ne chaha to me fir aayungi naamdaan lene aur meri kismat me hoga to mughe mil jayega..

This march'09 i went again for naamdaan registration. I was not confident at all i left everything on babaji yeh sochte hue 'Saare jaha ke malik tera hi asra he raaji he hum usime jisme teri raja he'. I was not worried at all this time because mere hath me to kuch he hi nahi. I got the yellow slip as age was not an issue at all.. in interview one aunty asked 100 of questions like .. are you vegiterrian ? last babaji ke darshan kab hue? aapke husband anr inlaws satsang aate he ya nahi... etc etc... And i thought its done and i got it this time but no there were more rounds of interviews.. But i cleared all and they registered me for naamdaan. I was not happy as still i was not sure on monday babaji mughe naamdaan denge ya nahi kyonki maine suna tha ki baba ji naamdaan dene se pahle check karte he ki kisko is life me naam milna he... But i was not worried i dont no why maine decision babaji par chod diya tha.

We were supposed to reach at 7.30. I was there at dot 7.30 aur hum sabko line me bithaya gaya.. Light breakfirst offer kiya and uske baad Babaji aaye aur unhone ne sabko darshan diye aur shayad ye check kiya ki mark for naamdaan he ya nahi...
Hamare pandal me se kisiko nahi nikala par ha maine suna couples me se 2 ya 2 couples ko nikala gaya he... Iske baad mughe lagne laga ki ha mughe naam mil jayega (Par pata nahi koi feeling nahi aa rahi thi)

Fir hame ek pandal me le jaya gaya jaha maharaj ji ne bahut hi acha satsang kiya aur hampar naamdaan ki bakhshish ki. Unhone ek ek step sachkhand mein jaane ka aise samjhaya jaise ki koi apne ghar ka rasta bahut hi clearly batata he... It was amazing experience i can not forget this... I want to thank BabaJi for this..
